Our Mission

Our mission is simple. We want to inform the public of the current family laws and how they effect each family. Knowledge is power. If two parents are not married, it is in the best interest of the child and of the family as a whole for the both parents to claim parental rights. Without a judgement granted by the court, paternal rights are only given to the mother by default. This causes serious problems for families down the road. We would like to encourage every family to take a simple step and file a motion to claim paternal rights to the child. It is so much easier to claim your rights while the family is happy, stable, and everyone is together. It is extraordinarily more difficult to claim your rights in court after a breakup because in most cases, the parents no longer agree on parental responsibility and the burden is left on the family to fight in court. Many times, sole custody is granted by the courts by default when it is actually in the best interest of the child to receive 50/50 joint custody.
